Using Zone Shift

Pick the state, then its NAD83 State Plane zone, and the units your file is in.
If the file is in surface coordinates, set the scaling and combined factor.
Drop a PNEZD file on the drop box, or choose one. Check the table and skipped rows, then download the CSV.

File format

Comma-separated, one point per line: point, northing, easting, elevation, description. Z and D are optional; quoted descriptions may contain commas.

1,5000.00,5000.00,100.00,CP
2,5123.45,5210.88,,IRF
3,5301.20,4987.65,,"IR, CAP"

Header and skipped rows

A text row before the first point is treated as the header. Lines starting with #, ; or // are ignored. Rows with fewer than three fields, or a northing or easting that is not a number, are listed with their line number and left out.

Coordinate scaling

Leave at No scaling for grid coordinates. Surface → Grid multiplies N and E by the combined factor (grid ÷ surface) before converting; Grid → Surface divides. Scaling is about 0,0 and the factor must be between 0.95 and 1.05.

Output

CSV with one row per point: point, latitude and longitude in decimal degrees to 8 places, latitude and longitude in DMS to the whole second with N/S and E/W, and description. Every point is included, not just the rows shown.

Datum

Latitude and longitude are NAD83 on GRS80. Both NAD83 realizations use the same projection parameters, so the datum difference is centimetre-level.

Zones

120 NAD83 zones from the EPSG registry, grouped by state as in the zone table. Alaska zone 1 (oblique Mercator) is not supported.
