QR Desk guide

Create a code

Supply the full HTTP or HTTPS URL, including its query string or fragment if needed. Generate QR encodes exactly the trimmed text you supplied. The destination is not fetched or verified. Changing the URL clears the old output until you generate again.

Add center artwork

Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP under 10 MB. The image is fitted without stretching, on a white backing, at 8–30% of the code’s module width. High error correction is always enabled. Logos obscure modules and may interfere with alignment patterns, so smaller is generally better. Test with several phones, at the actual intended size, distance and lighting.

Download

PNG resolution uses an integer number of pixels per module for sharp edges. SVG preserves vector modules and embeds the decoded logo as a PNG; it contains no remote image references. Both formats include a white four-module quiet zone. Keep it intact when placing the code in a design. Black-on-white output avoids contrast problems.

Privacy

URLs and logos stay in the browser. No account, upload, tracking redirect, analytics or saved draft. These are static codes: to change the destination later, regenerate the code, or use a URL whose destination you control. A code that scans is not proof that its destination is trustworthy.
